Become a facilitator or volunteer your time.

Millennial Crisis is community-run and community lead. We run by the philosophy take when you need give when you can. As we have limited funding and run not-for-profit ensuring our events stay free for you to attend we are only able to run thanks to the help of our community.

How can you volunteer?

  1. Become a facilitator

    What is involved in facilitating?
Our facilitators help create a safe space for people to connect and share. It’s a great way for you to learn a new skill as we will support you through a facilitation training process where you will learn how to create a safe and inviting space for people to have open conversations.

    Our facilitators:
    - Are open and empathetic people who are looking to support others
    - Community-minded
    - Looking to learn a new skill
    - Wanting to build up their confidence in public speaking/running workshops
    - Expand their network and gain new connections

Once you have filled out the below form every 1-2 months you will receieve an email with our upcoming events & facilitation opportunities for you. If it’s your first time facilitating we will require you to take part in a 1-hour training session :)

  2. Volunteer with your skillset

We constantly need support from reaching out to event sponsors, applying for grants, marketing and event organisation. We love when our community helps, however to ensure we can get the work done we require a 3-month minimum project commitment working with us 3hrs per fortnight. We will set you tasks based on your skillset :) If you’d like to volunteer your time please fill out the form below sharing your skillset. Once we review we will get back to you with a structure and how we can work together. Please be aware we do get a tonne of volunteer requests and don’t have capacity to take everyone on. We really appreciate you all :)

  3. Become a city host

If you’re interested in hosting an event please head to our event host page here to find out more and to register interest here.
