Become a host!

Millennial Crisis started in Melbourne Australia, however, over the years we have expanded our community to cities across the globe including; Sydney, Boston & Amsterdam.

We want to continue to encourage in-person connection for young people across the globe and have designed a training & support program where we can help you host an event in your city!

What is involved?

Millennial Crisis will be in charge of the event creation, promotion & attendee organisation. All you need to do as a city host is help with event space suggestions (check out a space to see if it’s suitable for our events/liase with a venue), and be there on the event day to welcome and organise guests into groups.

If it’s your first time hosting an event we will usually find you an event partner in your city to help co-host an event. We will also start you off small with no bigger than 20 people for your first event.

What do I need to do?

1. Fill out the form below & tell us why you’d like to host
2. Commit roughly 3-hours of your time pre-event. This will include a meeting with our team to find out a little more about you, a host training session, email replies + support leading up to the event.

3. Host your event!

What has hosting looked like?

Boston:
Our Boston host Euro, runs his own community. He started off wanting to host 1 event and has now hosted 10+. He has his own goals for the community, has run larger and smaller events and has even designed his own style of events! Any media or recognition for the Boston community goes right to Euro, we do not take credit for any specific city hosts we just want to support you in facilitating community events.

It has allowed Euro to meet and connect with incredible people as well as upskill in conversation facilitation, event organisation and connection.

Sydney: Sydney has a collaborative hosting model, which means those who are interested in hosting an event in Sydney join a group where we share event dates and the community selects which dates they have capacity to volunteer in. This allows people to share the load and ensure we can run regular events in the city :)

Amsterdam: Amsterdam was a one off event. This was a one off event a community member wanted to host & we helped facilitate it for her :)
